Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • Carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites along with the cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  • In another bowl, blend the egg yolks and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the yolk mixture.
  • Spoon the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet to form rounds.
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let them cool before using.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze them separated with parchment paper for longer storage. Reheat in an oven or toaster when ready to enjoy.
